Shraddha Das is a versatile Indian actress. She is also a model and works on Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, and Kannada films. She started her journey in the television industry by appearing in a Telugu movie entitled “Siddu from Srikakulam” in 2008. Now she has been working across various film industries.

Shraddha was born on 4th March 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to Bengali parents. Her father, Sunil Das, a businessman, originally came from Purulia, West Bengal, and her mother, Sapna Das is a housewife. Shraddha was brought up in Mumbai and completed her graduation from Ruia College.
After graduation, she pursued her Bachelor of Mass Media degree in journalism from the University of Mumbai at SIES College of Commerce & Economics. While reading at college, she worked in theaters and took part in the workshops conducted by the National School of Drama artists like Pijush Mishra, Chittaranjan Giri, Salim Shah et. al.
After that, she was admitted to Glad rags Academy for training, but before that she also worked in print advertisements for MC Dowell’s Aristocrat and more 400 catalogs.

Shraddha made her debut in the film industry in 2008 with the Telugu film “Siddu from Srikakulam” as Nisha. In the following year, she got the chance to act in some more Telugu films like “Target”, “18,20 Love Story”, “Diary”, “Adhineta ” and “Arya 2“.These made her familiar with the world of the silver screen.
In 2010, Das entered the Bollywood industry in a maiden venture called “Lahore”. It was directed by Sanjay Puran Singh and it was Das’s first Hindi movie where she got the role of Ida, a Pakistani Psychiatrist. In the same year, she acted in some Telugu films such as “Maro Charitra”, “Darling”, “and Nagavalli”.
Das got the nickname of ‘Sequel Queen’ for her mind-blowing appearance in the sequels of “Arya”(Arya2), “Mantra”(Diary), and “Chandramukhi”(Nagavalli). Thereafter, in 2011, she was seen in the role of Gungun Sarkar in her second Hindi movie entitled “Dil to Baccha Hai Ji”. In addition to this, she showed her excellence in two other Telugu films -“Mugguru” (Shalini) &”Mogudu”(Jo).
In the following two years, Das appeared in “Hosa Prema Purana “as Sanjana and “Dracula 2012″ as Taara. These were her debut movies in Kannada and Malayalam film industries respectively. In 2014, Das also got featured as Nandini in a Bengali movie called “Royal Bengal Tiger”.Again, the role of Kammo in the romantic comedy “Lucky Kabootar” and Priya in the erotic thriller “Zid” smoothened the journey of her career.
Next, her three Telegu movies were released in 2015 where Das portrayed the character of Jeena in “Ray”; Goon in “Superstar Kidnap” ; and she got her name character in “Bandipotu”.She also acted in Kannada films “Oujja” as Maya and “Haunting of Bombay Mills“.In the meantime, she got featured in the character of Vartika in a Hindi movie entitled “Chai Shai Biscuits”.
Up next, in 2016, she completed two Hindi films -“Sanam Teri Kasam“(Ruby Malhotra) & Great Grand Masti (Nisha); three Telegu films -“Guntur Talkies”(Revolver Rani), “Aata”(Kshetra) & “Dictator “, though she had a special appearance in the movie “Dictator”( in the song “Tingo Tingo”).In the Bengali movie “Badshah, the Don”, Das portrayed the character of Priya
In 2017,her released movies were “Babumashai”(Yasmin)and “PSV Garuda Vega” (Malini).In the next two years, she showed up in many films like”Teen Paheliyan “(Damini), “Pure Soul”(Shweta), and “Udgharsha”(Kruthika), Hippi(herself), “Panther: Hindustan Meri Jaan”(Ziya).
In 2021, she again appeared in a Telugu film named “Ek Mini Katha” to feature the role of Junior Guruji. Besides, in a Kannada movie”Kotigobba 3″, she had the role of Kangana, an Interpol officer to play.
Recently, she is filming two Telegu movies –“Nireekshana”&”Arrtham”, which will be released very soon.
