Madalsa Sharma( Chakraborty) is a well-known Indian film and television actress and also a model. She is famous for appearing in Star Plus’s “Anupama” as Kavya Singh. She has worked in films like” Patiala Dreamz”, Paisa Ho Paisa”, “Pathayeram Kodi”,” Angel” etc in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, German, Punjabi languages. She is also recognized as the daughter-in-law of the famous Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty.

Madalsa was born on 26th September 1991 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is now about 31 years old. Her parents belonged to the Television Industry. Her father, Subhash Sharma was a film producer and director, whereas her mother, Sheela Sharma was an actress. She was brought up in Mumbai and pursued her schooling at Marble Arch School. After that, she graduated in English literature from Mithibai College, Mumbai.
From her early childhood, she was interested in acting and learned her first lesson from her parents. Then she received acting training from Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute. She also learned dancing from Ganesh Acharya and Shaimak Devar.
Career
Madalsa stepped into the Television Industry in 2009 with a Telegu film entitled”Fitting Master”, directed by E.V.V Satyanarayana. In this film, her performance in the role of Meghna showed a green signal for her career. In the next year, she debuted in the Kannada film industry with the movie called “Shourya”, in which her role as Sweta boosted career her.
Also in 2010, she appeared in the Telugu film “Aslasym Amrutan”, produced under the banner of Suresh Productions. Although the movie got flopped at the box office, she received positive comments for her excellent performance in the film. Besides, in the same year, she made her debut in a Tamil film called “Thambikku Indhra “, “Ooru” as Priya.
Thereafter, in 2011, Madalsa entered the Bollywood industry in the role of Sonal Mahajanin in “Angel”.It was her first Hindi film and she became the subject of gossip throughout the industry. Soon after, another Telegu film named “Vayasuku Vacham “was released and her role as Khushi was well received. Even the Times of India praised her excellent performance and wrote that she played the eye candy very well.
Up next, in 2013, she was seen in a Tamil movie named “Pathayeram Kodi” as Bhoomika. In the same year , she acted in a German film entitled The Girl With the Indian Emerald as Mala. Later, in 2014, she got the chance to appear as Dimphy Singh in “Samrat and Co, “her second Hindi film. In the same year, she had the role of Reet in a Punjabi movie called “Patiala Dreamz.”
Her next Telugu movie “Chitram Cheppina Katha” remained unreleased due to some anonymous reasons. In 2015, she appeared specially in a Telegu film Ram Leela, and she also portrayed the character of Bhoomika in “Paisa Ho Paisa”.
In addition to this, she appeared in another film entitled “Dove”. Her next released movies in 2016 were “Dil Sala Sanki”, “Super 2”.The role of Angali in “Mausam Ikrar Ke Do Pal Pyar Ka” was one of her next movies, released in 2018.
In 2020, she got the role of Kavya Singh in “Anupamaa”, aired on Star Plus and it has been running on television since then. For this serial, she was nominated for ITA Award for Best Actress in a supporting role. In 2021, she made her digital debut in a music video named Butterfly, sung by Dev Nagi and Swati Sharma.
