Biography
She was born as Maheep Sandhu on 29 April 1982 into a Punjabi family in Delhi, India. She is now 40 years old. Her father is Tej Singh Sandhu and her mother is Namita Sandhu.
She has a brother named Hartej Singh Sandhu. She shifted to Perth in Australia with her family. After her marriage to Sanjay Kapoor, she returned to India and completed a course in Jewellery designing at the Diamond Institute of Mumbai.
Since childhood, she wanted to be an actress, but the Almighty wrote another career destiny for her. That’s why she established herself as a popular jewelry designer.

Then, she made her first Bollywood debut with the film “Shivam”, opposite Panini Rajkumar, the son of Rajkumar. But, this film flopped at the box office and she gave up her hope of becoming an actress. Despite this, she designed jewelry very earlier for her family and friends.
This changed her life and she started working as a jewelry designer for Satyani Fine Jewels. Her unique assortment of” Chandbalis for Satyani Fantastic Jewels” made her popular within a very little time.
Even, she made beautiful pair of Chandelier earrings which were worn by various Bollywood celebrities such as Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, and many more .
In 2006, Maheep worked in the Bollywood movie ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ as a Jeweller designer. In the next year, she kept her appearance in the Blockbuster movie “Om Shanti Om” as a jeweler designer and she achieved a lot of fame.
After a few years, in 2013, she started a luxurious retail boutique “Bandra 190“ with her co-founders Sussane Khan and Seena Khan. In the next year, she established a luxurious online retailer for Asian designer-wear with the entrepreneurship of VIVA – Luxe.
