Krishna Mukherjee is an Indian Television personality and model. She is famous for her roles as Aliya in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Priya Singhania in Kuch To Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein.

Krishna Mukherjee Biography:

Krishna was born on 12th August 1992 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. Her father’s name is Biswarup Mukherjee and her Mother’s name is Rubi Mukherjee. Her elder sister Saru Mukherjee is a renowned blogger. Krishna belongs to a Hindu Brahmin family.

As a child, she was shy and introverted. She even suffered from scopophobia i.e.an excessive fear of being stared at. She did not nurture any special desire to become an actress. However, she always wanted to become famous but did not know the proper way. She gradually started to develop an interest in dancing. Thereafter, she attended several stage shows but could not overcome her fear. She could not go anywhere without the assistance of her elders. In 2005 she was invited to attend a dance competition organized by Hungama TV in Mumbai. The organizers gave her two airplane tickets but she refused to go there without her sister. Therefore, she managed to book an extra ticket for her sister and then attended the show.

With the passage of time, her desire to master the art of dancing grew stronger and ultimately she decided to become a choreographer. Hence, she moved to Mumbai and became a part of the Kingdom of Dreams Dance Academy. She even joined Aston Lobo’s Workshops for her skill development. She unspectacularly gained confidence and started to perform in stages fearlessly. In 2014 she got selected for the role of Shina in the sitcom ‘ Jhalli Anjali ‘.Although she came to Mumbai for becoming a choreographer, she ended up becoming a TV personality. Moreover, she used to watch romantic Hollywood movies like Pretty Woman, Notebook, etc. to improve her acting skills. After her first TV show, she appeared in a lot of commercials.

Career:

Krishna stepped into the Entertainment industry in 2014 with the TV show Jhalli Anjali but she got the major breakthrough of her career in Yeh  Hai Mohabbatein, a daily soap aired on Star Plus in 2016. She played the role of Aliya Raghav which gained immense popularity. She also showed up in Balaji Telefilm’s Naagin Season 3 and Twist Wala Love. In 2019 she played the role of Taamsi in Naagin Season 3 . She hesitated a lot to play the character of Taamsi because it was a negative character. She thought that acting in negative roles might harm her popularity but ultimately she managed to play the role. She also appeared in a Music Video entitled Black  ( singer- Guru Randhawa/ Year- 2019) . Then in 2020 she again showed up in a song- IKK WARI.

A few years ago there was a buzz that she was dating her co-star Aly Goni. They were often seen together at parties but Krishna revealed that Aly was his good friend. After the Big Boss, Aly Goni’s relationship with Jasmine was confirmed and this proved that Krishna was telling the truth. Later it was rumored that She was dating Mushtaq Ahmad, a famous scriptwriter but fans failed to find concrete evidence.
