Koushani Mukherjee is an Indian model and actress. She mainly appears in Bengali films. Her role as Aparna Roy in the Bengali movie ‘Parbona Ami Charte Tokey ‘ established her in the industry.

Koushani Mukherjee Biography:
Koushani, nicknamed Koushi, was born on 17th May (Sunday), 1992 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She belongs to a middle-class Hindu brahmin family. At present, she is 30 (2022). Her father Rana Mukherjee is an Income Tax officer. Her mother Sangita Mukherjee, a housewife, died a premature death (50 years) on 23 October 2021. She was reportedly suffering from kidney and lungs infection. Koushani is the only child of her parents.
Koushani Mukherjee Education:
Koushani completed her schooling at God Church School Assembly, Park Street, Kolkata. After that, she was admitted to Heramba Chandra College, Kolkata to pursue her graduate degree in commerce. She always dreamed of becoming an Income Tax officer like her father and hence she decided to pursue her graduate degree in commerce. But eventually, she entered the Entertainment industry
Career:
In 2015 Koushani participated in the Goldlites Diva competition organized by P.C. Chandra Jewellers. She won the contest and also won the subtitles of ‘ Beautiful Hair’ and ‘ Beautiful Smile ‘.Meanwhile, she met Raj Chakraborty, a famous Bengali film director. He offered to cast her in his movie. In the same year, she debuted in the Bengali movie ‘ Parbona Ami Charte Tokey ‘ ( Banner- Venkatesh Films and Surinder Films, Producers – Srikant Mehata and Mahendra Soni, Director- Raj Chakraborty). The movie narrates a simple love story in which Shibu, the son of a widow falls in love with Apu. They grow up together and always quarrel with each other. After a series of events, Shibu ultimately expresses his love for Apu. Koushani’s acting in the movie snatched everyone’s attention. The movie proved to be a blockbuster at the box office.
