He was born on 29 July 1990 in Brentwood, England. His original name is Joey Donald Essex. The name of his sibling is Frankie. There is scarcity of information about his parents except the fact that his mother committed suicide when he was very young (only 10 years old) . Joey was unaware of the fact that his mother was no more. Later, Frankie confirmed the truth. His father Donny Essex brought up him.
