Catherine was born on 10th September 1989 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Her father’s name is Frank Mario Alexander and Tresa Alexander is her mother. She studied up to 12th standard in Dubai and thereafter she moved to Bangalore to pursue her higher studies. She started modeling at the age of 14 and after that, she endorsed many big brands.

In 2010 Catherine debuted in the film industry with the Kannada movie ‘ Shankar IPS’.She played the role of Shilpa in this action and crime thriller directed by M.S.Ramesh. In the same year, she got the opportunity to work in B.Unnikrishnan’s action, thriller ‘The Thriller ‘.The movie is in Malayalam which is her mother tongue.
In 2011 she again appeared in another Malayalam movie ‘ Uppukandam Brothers: Back in Action ‘ where she played the role of Vinila Sathyaneshan. T.S.Babu was the director of the movie. Later she signed for 2 Kannada movies. In ‘ Godfather ‘ (2012 / Director- Sethu Sriram) she played the role of Vaani.
In 2013 Catherine debuted in the Telugu film industry. She appeared in the movie ‘ Chammak Challo’ directed by Neel Kanth. Although the movie failed at the box office, her acting abilities were recognized. Critics opined that she had the potential to be a superstar in the future if she played her cards right. Next, She showed up in Puri Jagannath’s Telugu film ‘ Iddarammayilatho’.She was critically acclaimed for her role in the movie. Thereafter, in 2014 she showed up in ‘ Paisa’, a drama film by Krishna Vamsi. In the movie, she played the role of Noor.
