Born into a humble family, Saltanat’s father worked in Dubai, while her mother was a housewife. She has three siblings, but tragically, her younger brother Danesh passed away due to a high fever on September 20, 2022.

Saltanat’s journey towards her dream of becoming a government officer was not an easy one. She completed her B.Tech and first learned about civil services during her time in college. She made three attempts at the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination before finally finding success in the UPPSC examination.
However, her preparation for the civil services was not without its challenges. The unfortunate loss of her brother Danesh left her deeply disturbed, and she temporarily left her civil services preparation to spend time at home with her family.
During this difficult period, Saltanat’s family became her biggest source of motivation and support. She resumed her preparation for the UPPSC examination with renewed determination and vigor. Her hard work and dedication paid off, as she cleared the examination after tremendous preparation.
