Gaurav Khanna is an Indian actor. He works chiefly in Television Serials. He is best known for his role as Neil in the serial Jeevan Saathi. His other famous characters are Inspector Kavin in CID and Akshay in Tere Bin.

Gaurav was born on 11 December 1981 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father’s name is Vinod Khanna who works as an Exporter. His mother’s name is Sakshi Khanna who is a housewife.
Gaurav, a talented boy, completed his studies at a renowned Institution in his hometown. He later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at a reputed Management College.

In 2004, he appeared in the Television Serial Studio One where he acted in the character of Sunny. It was a drama series. There were only seven episodes in it. Next, he appeared in the serial Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. The series was broadcasted on Star Plus from 2006 to 2007. This year he also acted in three other serials. Those were Mano Ya Na Mano, Jamegi Jodi.Com, Ssshhhh.. Phir Koi Hai.
The roles he played were Aditya, Rahul, and Ritesh respectively. Meri Doli Tere Angna, Ardhangani, Santaan, etc were also notable Television Serials where he portrayed different roles.
From 2008 to 2010, he appeared in serials such as Jeevan Saathi, Balika Vadhu, Uttaran, Dancing Queen, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, Dil Se, Diya Vachan, etc.
He got his first lead role in Meri Doli Tere Angana. Gaurav blew away the mind of the audience with his performance in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam.
There he played the role of Abeer Bajpayee. In 2008 he took part in Big Boss 2. In 2011 he appeared in the serial Sasural Simar Ka. This year, he was the host of a show named Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan.
In 2002 he acted in the love story-based serial Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka. He played the character of Gopikishan/the real Satya very well. He was the lead actor in that serial. It was broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television.
Next, he worked in the serial Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyar (2013) playing the role of Mohit Khanna. He was also famous for his role in the age-long TV series CID where he was seen playing the role of Senior Inspector Kavin. He also acted in the all-time hit serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.
During 2014-15 he was a contestant in Box Cricket League 1. In 2015 he appeared as Birbal in the serial Hazir Jawab Birbal.
Apart from all these his other serials are Tere Bin(2016),Ganga(2016),Prem Ya Paheli Chdrakanta(2017), Laal Ishq(2018-20),Chandragupta Maurya (2018-2019),Savdhaan India (2020),Mauka – E-Vardaat (2021),Anupamaa(2021-present). His role as Seleucus/Nicator brought him fame. His role Anuj “AK” Kapadia also gave him success.
He was nominated for Best Popular Actor by Indian Television Academy Award in 2022.
