Arjun came of a Sindh family. His father’s name is Sudarshan Bijlani. His mother’s name is Shakti Bijlani. He lost his father in his early childhood. He has a younger brother whose name is Niranjan Bijlani and a sister named Rohini Bijlani. His schooling started at Bombay Scottish School, Mahim. After that, he graduated from the HR College of Commerce and Economics. A talented Arjun always scored well in almost all his exams.
Career
Arjun, for the first time in his life, appeared on screen in 2004 with the Balaji Telefilms’ Television Serial Kartika. In the serial, he acted opposite his female counterpart, Jennifer Winget. Here, he played the lead role of Ankush. The serial was aired on Hungama TV. With the passage of time, he started to become mature in acting. His works in the next serials bear the testimony of it. In 2005, he appeared in the Television Series Remix. But he came to the limelight with his action-based Television series Left Right Left. This series was aired on SAB TV. The director of the show was Anshuman Kishore and Singh and the producer was Tony Singh and Deeya Singh.

Arjun had the role of Cadet Alekh Sharma to play in this series. In 2008, he took a break from Left Right Left. He decided to sign the contract which was given by Deepti Bhatnagar for her periodic drama series entitled Mohe Rang De. In this Television drama he played the role of Sanjay, a fun-loving person. In the same year, he was featured in another romantic show Miley Jab Hum Tum. The other actors were Rati Pandey, Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal.
He portrayed the character of a nerdy man named Mayank Sharma. He fell in love with a fun-loving girl. This romantic drama was his first show where he played the lead role for the first time. The serial enchanted the audience and its TRP reached high. The show lasted till 19th November 2010. Next in 2011, he got the role in Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna, an NDTV Imagine show.
It was directed by Glen Barretto, Ankush Mohla, and Paresh B Patil. The story of the Television series revolved around a twisted love story. He played the role of Chandrakant Bhosle opposite Bharna Khatri. In 2012, he hosted a show named Road Dairies. It was broadcasted on UTV Bindass.
In the same year, he appeared in the love story series Teri Meri Love Stories. He was seen in the series opposite Neha Jan pandit. Here his role was of Raghu, an uncultured guy. This year he acted in a short film named Full Phukre. In 2013, he again acted in two shots films: I Guess and Caught in the Camera. In the movie I Guess he portrayed the character of Manav who was presented as a noble-hearted human being. In the latter one, he played the role of Karan who was a cheater.
Next, he appeared in the TV series Kaali-Ek Punar Avatar(2013).The story of the series revolved around the Nitish Katara Murder Case where a mother struggled for justice. The director of the series was Dinesh Mahadev.
Up next, he appeared in many Television series like Chintu Ban Gaya Gentleman(2013), and Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar. In Biwi Se Kare Pyaar, he appeared in the role of Aditya Khanna opposite Shweta Gulati. This series was aired on SAB TV. In the year 2014, he played a minor role in the series Box Cricket League.
In 2014 he showed up in an episode of UTV Bindass’s Yeh Hai Aashiqui along with Perneet Chauhan and Rucha Gujarathi. In 2015, he engaged himself in Balaji Telefilms’ drama series Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi opposite Radhika Madan and Shakti Arora. He portrayed the role of Sikhar Mehra although he left the series and later appeared in the series Naagin(2015)
He appeared in this series opposite Mouni Roy. The show was broadcasted on Colors TV. The story of the series was based on a tycoon’s belief that love and religion are distracters because they make one weak. But when the tycoon met Shivanya, played by Mouni Roy his beliefs got shattered. This was the series that was considered to be the turning point of his life and career. It succeeded to get High TRPs.
Movies
Then he made his debut in Bollywood in the year 2016 with Baba Motion Pictures’ Direct Ishq. The Co-actor and actress were Rajneesh Duggal and Nidhi Subbaiah. He had the role of a good boy of an affluent family background to play in the movie. But the movie was not commercially successful.
In 2016 he was in the show Comedy Nights Bachao. He was also a contestant on the reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 9 (2016).In the same year, he shared the screen in a fantasy drama Kavach… Kaali Shaktiyon Se. He acted along with Mona Singh and Vivek Dahiya. In this drama, he played the role of a genie.
He appeared again in Naagin season 2. In the same year, he played the role of Raghav Mehra in Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil opposite Drashti Dhami. The show could not perform well due to low TRPs.
In 2017 Arjun signed a contract with Beyond Dreams Entertainment for Ishq Mein Marjawan, a love story show. He was Deep Raj Singh there and it was aired on Colors TV. The show was successful to gain TRPs. This one lasted till June 2019. In 2018 he embarked on the journey to become an anchor in the dance reality show named Dance Deewane.
The production company of the Show was Dreams Vault Media. In 2019 he appeared in a cooking reality show Kitchen Champion. After that, he was seen again in Naagin Season 3.
Apart from all these, he hosted the Kitchen Champion 5(2019), and Dance Deewane 2(2019).
He appeared in Bigg Boss season 13 as a guest. In March 2020 he made his debut in OTT Platforms with the thriller series State of Siege: 26/11. The series was produced by Contiloe Pictures.
In 2022 he was seen hosting the Sony TV’s India’s Got Talent. This year he made his first appearance on-screen with his wife Neha in Smart Jodi.
