An Action Hero Movie Review:
The Bollywood Film Industry has started gaining momentum slowly but surely. After Karthik Aryan’s Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Ajay Devgan’s Drishyam 2, and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, now Ayushmaan Khurrana’s action -thriller has arrived at the theatres.
Ayushmaan Khurrana, known for his content-based films, is doing something different for the very first time. He is seen performing cool action scenes in the movie.
An Action Hero Movie Review – Plot:
Manav, ( Ayushmaan Khurrana) is busy shooting his movie in a certain village in Haryana. He considers himself to be the icon of the youths and hence he refuses to make the biopic of a gangster. The incidents take a u-turn when Narag Prasad’s ( the municipality chairperson) younger brother gets killed, unfortunately.
Everyone’s suspicion falls on Manav and hence he escapes to Mumbai. In Mumbai Airport he sees the media and flees to London. To avenge the death of his brother, the villain follows him to London. The entire media is keen on making Manav guilty. There are several twists and turns between Manav and the antagonist in the movie.
Can Manav prove himself innocent? Or the antagonist would succeed in avenging the death of his brother? These are the questions that will be answered in the movie.
Interestingly, the film also features Akshay Kumar in a guest appearance. The glimpse of Akshay Kumar is mesmerizing.
An Action Hero Movie Review- Direction & Other Technical Aspects:
It is the directorial debut of Aniruddha Iyer who has been assisting the famous producer Anand L. Roy for more than 10 years. He is also the writer of the movie. Niraj Yadav is the screenplay writer of the movie.
Conclusion:
The movie tries to depict the difficulties faced by a celebrity. Although it is spiced with action and thrill, the storyline seems weak.
Is it possible that the entire media is telecasting the news of the hero’s escape but the family members of the hero are unknown of the fact? The hero is solely dependent on his secretary for help. In addition to this, several characters get introduced to the movie but ultimately they fail to make it interesting.
