India has so far secured only four Olympic quotas in wrestling for the Paris 2024 Olympics, and all of them have come from the women’s wrestling category
Fourteen Indian wrestlers, including Aman Sehrawat and Deepak Punia, will vie for Paris Olympic 2024 quotas at the World Wrestling Olympic Qualifiers 2024, set to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, starting Thursday. The Istanbul event is the final chance for wrestlers to earn a spot at the upcoming Summer Olympics. In each weight category, there will be three Olympic quotas up for grabs.
The top two wrestlers in each division will secure Paris Olympics 2024 quotas for their respective countries. The third quota spot will be determined by a playoff bout between the two bronze medallists in each weight class.
