Sweta Singh Biography:
Sweta was born on 21 August 1977 in Patna, Bihar, India.
She wanted to be a film producer but eventually, she became a journalist. After completing school education from her home town Patna, she was admitted to Patna University. Meanwhile, she realized that producing films was not an easy task and hence she concentrated on her studies. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Patna University.
Sweta was a great storyteller and she started to write articles for local News Papers. Thereafter, she began to write articles for The Times of India and The Hindustan Times. In 1998 she shifted to Delhi to progress further in her career. In the same year, she entered Electronics Media. Then she started her career officially as a News Reader and News Anchor in Zee News and Sahara News. In 2002 she joined Aajtak, another big news channel. She has been working as an established anchor in Aajtak since then.
She is specialized in sports-related news. She runs a dedicated program in the sports segments. Now she is one of the favourite anchors of Aajtak News. Moreover, she worked as an ‘ Executive of Special Programming ‘.In 2005 Sports Journalism Foundation of India ( SJFI) awarded her.
Besides being a professional News Anchor, She is a programming executive. She is considered to be a skilled Sports Journalist. She provides minute details of the sports she is broadcasting. She has been working in the News Industries for more than 2 decades. She worked as an Aajtak reporter in several Hindi films. During the Legislative Elections of Bihar in 2015, She hosted a program entitled ‘ History of Patliputra ‘.The show made her more famous. In 2016 she appeared in The Kapil Sharma Show.
Sweta Singh Husband:
Sweta married Sanket Kotkar. He works as a senior technology manager in Enlight Solutions Pvt. Ltd. She accidentally met Sanket in a social gathering and then they fell in love. Finally, they got married. They have a daughter.
