New Delhi: A 22-yr-old Indian pupil, learning MTech in Australia, was allegedly stabbed to demise when he tried out to intervene in a battle involving a team of Indian college students, said the victim’s uncle on Monday.
The incident took place on Sunday at 9 pm nearby time in Melbourne. Another pupil was also seriously hurt for the duration of the struggle.
In accordance to victim’s uncle, Navjeet Sandhu was “fatally stabbed in the chest” with a knife by a further college student when he was seeking to mediate a confrontation in a lease connected dispute concerning a group of Indian college students.
“Navjeet’s buddy (yet another Indian pupil) had requested him to accompany him to his residence to pick up his belongings as he experienced a auto. The accused are also described to be from Karnal.
Victoria police section has released pictures of two persons associated in the stabbing in Ormond in Melbourne’s south-east.
