Noah's thunderbolt and other top goals from matchweek 3

Matchweek three has come and gone in the 11th edition of the Indian Super League and it has been goals galore once again, with players producing moments of magic from their feet.

With 16 goals this week, the league table has finally started to take shape, with Bengaluru FC and Punjab FC leading the pack with three wins out of three.

Mohammedan SC secured its first-ever win in the ISL defeating Chennaiyin FC in Chennai.

We at The Bridge have collected the top five goals from matchweek three of the ISL.

#5: Diego Mauricio, Odisha FC

After losing to Chennaiyin FC in their first home game, Odisha bounced back at the Kalinga stadium with an important 2-1 win over Jamshedpur FC.

Their opening goal was a thing of beauty. A strong drive from midfield into the attacking third by Vanlalruatfela opens space for Boumous who lays it off to Diego Mauricio to complete what was a wonderfully worked team goal.

#4: Filip Mrzljak, Punjab FC

Mrzljak was crucial in Punjab 2-0 against Hyderabad FC. In a game where he probably should have scored a hattrick, he ended up sealing the game for the Shers, scoring their second of the night in a brilliant counterattack.

After getting past his man, he lays it off to the incoming attacker whose miscued shot falls right in the path of Mrzljak, making it 2-0 and sealing the three points.

#3: Pulga Vidal, Punjab FC

This goal would have ranked higher in the list had it not been for the simple fact that the Hyderabad FC keeper was just as culprit in letting the ball slip from his hand as Vidal was brilliant in getting the ball on target.

He became Punjab’s first ever direct freekick scorer in the ISL and credit to him for packing the power and accuracy on that shot. What a debut goal for the Argentine.

#2: Borja Herrera, FC Goa

Fewer things would hurt a fan than seeing your former player turning up against your club and scoring a hat trick.

That is exactly what every East Bengal fan went through, watching Borja Herrera score a brilliant hat trick for FC Goa.

His hattrick goal was sublime. Cutting in from the left, he beat his marker and rocketed the ball into the roof of the net.

A goal that was as crucial as it was brilliant since it enabled FC Goa to get all three points.

#1: Noah Sadaoui, Kerala Blasters

What a signing Noah has been for the Kerala Blasters. He has settled into the KBFC team very well and like the last matchweek, he scored a brilliant goal yet again, this time from the left.

Trailing 0-1 Noah picked up the ball from the left, drifted inwards beating the defenders, and struck a powerful low drive into the near post, giving the keeper no chance to save that.

His thunderous strike is our goal of the matchweek. Watch it here.
