The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has responded to Vinesh Phogat’s accusations from the WFI and its president Sanjay Singh of trying to quit her from collaborating in the impending Asian Olympic Qualifiers by building logistical hurdles and denying accreditation to her individual coach and physio.
A WFI formal, who needs not to be named told PTI that there is no objection to Phogat using her own mentor and physio but need to get the accreditation from the United Earth Wrestling (UWW) herself considering that the deadline is above.
“Her mail was mostly directed to the advertisement-hoc panel and the TOPS CEO even as the federation was also marked in it. She sent her request on March 18 but the federation had presently registered the guidance workers by then,” the official mentioned.
“We did not get any directive from the Ministry or SAI that Phogat’s mentor has to be additional to the list. We could have tried out, if we experienced any this sort of instruction”, the formal included.
