Indian women of all ages boxers will go to Turkey for a special teaching camp in international ailments forward of the future 2024 Paris Olympics.
Nikhat Zareen, Lovlina Borgohain, Parveen Hooda, and Preeti Pawar together with two coaches and a physiotherapist will vacation to Turkey right after Mission Olympic Mobile (MOC) of the Sports activities Ministry accepted the proposal.
Until now, India has received four quotas in boxing for the Paris Olympics and all of them arrived in the women’s boxing. Following the departure of Significant-General performance Director Bernard Dunne, SAI has decided to send the boxers to a international camp.
Aside from the boxers, MOC also permitted foreign schooling camps for 5 TOPS wrestlers who are preparing for the upcoming Paris Olympic Qualifiers and Asian Championships.
Wrestlers Sujeet (65kg), Deepak Punia (86kg), and Naveen (74kg) will head to Russia alongside with their respected sparring partners, mentor (for Ravi), and physiotherapists to coach ahead of the Asian Olympic Qualification Event in April.
In the meantime, Indian shooter Bhowneesh Mendiratta will head to Italy to prepare with personal coach Daniele Di Spigno for the preparing of the ISSF Globe Cup, Baku.
Ministry, beneath its Focus on Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) funding will cover their airfare, lodging, food fees, visa prices, and coaching payment (for Bhowneesh) among the other expenditures.
Murali Sreeshankar, Manika Batra to get financial support
MOC also authorised Asian Online games and Commonwealth Games (CWG) medallist Murali Sreeshankar’s proposal for economic support towards Diamond League competitions in Suzhou and Doha. TOPS will cover his coach and psychologist’s airfare, boarding/lodging expenses, OPA, Visa Service fees, and Clinical Insurance prices between other folks.
Indian Paddler Manika Batra meanwhile will get economic guidance for participation in WTT Feeder Varazdin in Croatia along with economical support for her mentor Aman Balgu for participation in the Globe Combined Doubles Olympic Qualification Celebration in Havirov, Czech Republic.
MOC below TOPS will address their airfare, along with hospitality expenditure (Lodging, Foods, Entry Costs, Local Transport) for her coach throughout the Olympic Qualification event and hospitality expenditure (Accommodation, Food stuff, Entry Charges, Transportation), Visa Charge, professional medical insurance plan and OPA for her practice partner Kiryl Barabanov through the n WTT Feeder Varazdin event.
