Lalit Yadav was born on 3rd January 1997 in Najafgarh, New Delhi. He belongs to a middle-class Hindu family. His father’s name is Zile Singh Yadav. He has a younger brother whose name is Tarun Yadav. Lalit is a talented all-rounder in Indian Domestic Cricket. He completed his schooling at the National Institute of open schooling, Delhi public school, Dwarka. After that, he took admission to Swami Shraddhanad College. When he was in college, he dreamt of becoming a great cricketer like Rishabh pant, Shreyas Iyer or Virender Sehwag. Moreover, he considers Virender Sehwag his role model.Co incidentally, Sehwag also belongs to Najafgarh town, New Delhi.

Lalit started to play cricket when he was barely 12. At first, he started to practice in local playgrounds. He had to face many ups and downs in his early days. He had to tread uneven Paths in his journey. The game of cricket, however, impressed young Lalit more than anything else in this world. In time, he acquired the necessary skills to play cricket efficiently. Now he plays cricket for the Delhi team. He debuted in first-class cricket with Ranji Trophy (2017 -2018). Lalit played for Delhi as a batsman. He played his first match against Maharashtra. In the year 2018, he made his Twenty20 debut in the zonal T20 league for Delhi (9th January 2018) team. In January 2018, he took part in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and won the tournament.
Lalit debuted in the List A match in 2018. After that, he played his first List A match against Himachal Pradesh at Nadauh in Feb,15th 2018. But unfortunately, Delhi lost that game only by 2runs. Moreover, Statistics revealed that he played 12 first-class matches.

After playing well in domestic matches, he turned to IPL. Delhi Capitals bought him with INR 20 lakhs for the 2020 IPL season. But he didn’t get the opportunity to play in IPL 2020 because Delhi Capitals retained him for the future. In 2021, he made his debut in IPL as a player in action. Therefore, he first played in the IPL 2021 season against Rajasthan Royals. Again, he did his best against Kolkata knight Riders. According to the Sources, he played 5 matches in IPL 2021 and scored 54 runs in 3 innings. Above all, his performance in batting as well as in bowling was impressive.
