Krithi Shetty was born on 21 September 2003 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She belonged to a Hindu Tulu family. Her family shifted to Mumbai from Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Her father Krishna Shetty owns a business. On the other hand, her mother Neethi Shetty is a fashion designer.
Krithi is now about 20 years old (age as of 2023). She is approximately 5’5″ tall and her approximate body weight is 59 kg. The color of her eyes and hair is black. She follows Hinduism.

After completing her school, she pursued graduation in psychology. While she was studying at the college, she started to work in T.V. commercials and print media advertisements as a model. She got a brief role in the 2019 film Super 30.
Then, when she turned 17, she got the opportunity to play the female lead in the Telugu movie ‘Uppena'(2021) directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The movie became a box-office hit and Krithi was crowned with positive criticism. In the same year, she appeared in another Telugu film entitled ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ where she worked opposite Nani. In the following year, she showed up in N. Lingusamy directed movie ‘The Warriorr’. It was a bilingual film where Ram pothineni played the role of the protagonist.
Although the movie failed to do anything at the box office, Krithi was praised for her acting. In the same year, she again showed up in an M.S. Rajashekhar Reddy-directed Telugu movie Macherla Niyojakavargam’.
