The premise of the serial is set in pre-independent India. Kamala’s father is an ardent admirer of the British Raj whereas Prithviraj’s father is a true patriot and he hates the British. A British Magistrate disrupts a local theatrical performance but Prithviraj protests fearlessly against the Magistrate’s act. Seeing the fearless attitude of Prithviraj Komola falls in love with him.
