Ishita was born on 26 August 1990 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand to a Bengali Hindu family. She is now about 31years old.
Her parents are Tapan Dutta and Shikha Dutta. Her sister Tanushree Dutta is a famous Bollywood actress, who won the” Femina Miss India” title in 2004. Ishita did her schooling from D.B.M.S. English school, Jamshedpur. Later, she graduated in Mass Media from a college (name not known) in Mumbai. Because of her strong enthusiasm for acting, she learned acting nuance from Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares school.

Ishita started her acting career in 2012 with the Telugu romantic film “Chanakyudu” in the role of Swapna. Later,she made her Kannada film debut with the movie entitled “Yenidu Manasali” followed by “Raja Rajendra” as Swathi in 2015. In the next two years, she made her TV serial debut as Poonam Garg in “Ek Ghar Banaunga”, aired on Star Plus.
