The action at the Paris Paralympic Games continued on the fourth day with the commencement of knockout matches in Para-badminton.
Indian shuttlers have confirmed their presence in seven medal matches scheduled for Monday.
On the other hand, in para-athletics, Ravi Rongali could not win a medal and finished fifth, despite a great personal best effort of 10.63m in the final of the men’s shot put F40 category.
The action will continue in Paris tomorrow as six medal matches will be there for Indian shuttlers in singles while the XD SH6 pairing of Nithya and Sivrajan will also compete for a bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Tokyo Paralympic champion Sumit Antil and the silver medalist Yogesh Kathuniya will be in action, sighting for back-to-back podium finishes at the Paralympic Games.
