The Buckingham Murders is not only a murder mystery, but deals with several issues including the LGBTQ issue, drug abuse, teenage problems, immigration problems, and communal disharmony. Hansal Mehta has done a great job bringing all this together and making a creative movie. Talking about the screenplay in the first half remains largely neutral even at its peak because the protagonist is unused to the events around her. She saw it and nothing can stop that. However, many viewers feel that nothing happens in the first half.

However, one drawback of the movie is that it sometimes sacrifices the detective feel while focusing more on a social satire about immigrants. The climax could also be a little more engaging. But one truly praiseworthy thing is that there is a silence that flows through every scene. The film starts well but as it tries to dig deep, it seems rushed. The Buckingham Murders successfully qualifies for a good watch.
