With this qualification, Klasa FC joins fellow Manipuri teams Neroca FC and Trau FC in the upcoming season, as both teams were relegated from last season’s I-League.

In another Group A match that had no bearing on the standings, Diamond Harbour FC edged out Downtown Heroes FC with a late goal, winning 2-1 at Naihati Stadium.

The Bengal team took an early lead in the fourth minute through William Lalgoulien, but Downtown Heroes equalized with a goal from Fahad Temuri in the 54th minute.

However, Shaiborlang Kharpan scored the decisive goal in the 89th minute, securing Diamond Harbour’s fourth consecutive victory and leaving Downtown Heroes with four straight losses.
